Kenmore upright freezer. The alarm keeps going off?

The light may be staying on and creating heat, or the unit thinks the door is still open.

Or the door seal is worn and is letting cold out.

Or

It needs gas.

Have you put a thermometer inside to check the temperature? It should be 0'F +/- 2'.

How do I disconnect the temperature alarm to my Kenmore freezer model number ************0

a number that long looks like a serial number rather than the Model Number. I doubt the temperature alarm can be disconnected. You _may_ be able to remove the sounder, but don't forget, it is provided for your safety and stop all your food spoiling unannounced. If the alarm keeps going of, it is for a reason and needs fixing.

Kenmore elite chest freezer control not working or illuminating. Good battery. Freezer is working.will replacing control panel fixit? What else may be bad?

It may be a sensor. Don't replace a control center unless you have determined it's bad. The sensor has to be wired to the board controller. Usually smaller cable with 2 conductors. If it has an alarm then there may g e as many as 6 or 8 or more wires going to the board. Using your wire diagram Find the sensor for temp. Sometimes the ohm value is given on the wire diagrams. You will also need the temperature at the point the sensor is connected inside. Your ohm reading should be close to the temp given in a table or from the manufacturer. If it's close sensor ok. Take next step.

Temp display reads 92 (hi temp) but the interior temp is 0.

No. Sounds like the intern temp sensor is bad, missing, or not connected. 92 is probably the max reading it can display. The unit will probably operate continuously, be much to cold, and cost a ton to operate. I assume you bought this from Sears. Call them to replace the freezer. Should be no problem.

Kenmore freezer deforsted suddenly. Comes on

compressor relay is probably going out...also check the plug in to the wall. A intermittant contact is a matter of following the source to the compressor. start at the plug and through the temp sensor/ t-stat defrost control and down to the compressor. but ususlly the compressor relay is the culprit.

Kenmore commercial standup freezer alarm

Sounds like the temp sensor is bad or intermittant. Check the connections to the display to see if they are loose. If not, the sensor might be bad, causing it to read the wrong temp. The fact that it is jumping around like that points to this kind of problem.

Kenmore Freezer Temp. Alarm

You should get a thermometer to be sure the temp is what it should be. With out it is very hard to tell correct temp.

Kenmore frostless 19 temp. control knob

i've pulled up the service diagram for it and there's no thermostat or temperature control but there's a limit sensor inside the freezer I'm sure that such sensor is failing and when it defrosts, it stays on to long, and the whole 15 min defrost cycles goes on causing the freezer to warm up, delaying the freezing process. I'm almost sure that the limit is going.

Kenmore Freezer Model 23041

I have an upright freezer which temp was unstable. The coils were frosted up, and the circulating fan was unable to pull air across the cooling fins.I defrosted the unit, cleaned it up, and turned it back on. Worked fine until it frosted up again. The unit was a no frost model. I had to have it serviced, and one of the defrost sensors was bad. No problems since this was fixed.
