I reimaged my pc about a week ago without the factory drivers disk. However, I was able to go online to HP's website and download the necessary hardware drivers for the machine. HP doesnt make that easy. Anyways, now that the machine is on windows 7 it has trouble restarting. It will try and restart only to give me a black screen like it is stuck in mid-reboot. However, if I hold the power button to turn it off and turn it back on the BIOS comes up saying BIOS resync successful. What can i do to help my hp restart properly?

Try to enter in to BIOS by restearting the notebook (Pressing F2 function, if the notebook enters in to bios then no need to worry. after theat i suggest you to reinstall the notebook to original factory settings dy the recovery disks.

your power supply is faulty you will need to replace it. If you recently installed a new hardware it could be you don't have enough power to, either upgrade you power supply or remove the hardware.
Testimonial: "I replaced the power supply this morning at 9:47 am and it is now 10:07 pm. It has run for over 12 hours. Thanks for the info. I suspected it also. "
