How to connect moto w230 with pc for internet

My battle with moto. phns. lasted aprox.2 months and 300+$ .main factor ur. carrier its that easy.ask! I purchased the software +2 diff. phones .There is no slick way.good luck

Make a call to your customer care (Vodafone, Airtel, Aircel,Spice,iDea,Reliance) and ask to send the GPRS setting.
Once you receive the GPRS settings store the settings
Switch off and switch on the mobile.

Now go to Menu->Browser->Web Session->Vodafone Live, Airtel live,.....
Now again switch off and switch on the device.

Now you can browse from your mobile W230.

motorola w230 is the cheapest mp3 phone ever made.
to connect it with PC we can only use it as a removable disk -or we can say as- same as an USB FLASH DISK ,in other way we can't use it as a modem.
because from my experience i think w230 is not design to be a modem.
and how to entry the mp3 file is by connect it to PC and use the phone as disk storage by clicking YES option every time it connect. for windows user use windows explorer or click my computer icon on the desktop then explore the computer & you'll find your phone as "removable disk" item. you'll find 3 folder ; music, picture, and system.
copy your mp3 and paste it to the folder "music" on the w230 "removable disk".
although can't connect to a PC/laptop we can still use the internet through the phone with a minimal facility.

If your keypad is locked, or you're in any of the menu(games, contacts, message,...) it won't connect to pc.
Just unlock and try to connect to pc.
Another chance you have is to install the motorola driver

I want to connect motorola w230 mobile to internet by using usb.so how can i connect and from where i can get software(Modem driver) for that.

your cellphone must be connected to the pc through the data cable only first & then run the p2k tools ...

in p2k tools there will 2 modes
it depends upon which version u download & use...

normally there will 2 modes ... go to p2k mode & wait for few seconds until it gets connected ...

after that go to file manager..
transfer the files to & from the phone ..
you can also store the inbox messages..
you can also make the back up of the contacts ...
you can unlock few other hidden settings by using the p2ktools
...
you also increase the speaker volume,you can also change the power on appearance etc...
