The light will go off when the fault that is keeping it on is fixed. You need the system scanned for the fault code.

Check your starter solenoid. You can trace it by following the power wire from the battery to the small solenoid block that contains a 30 amp fuse. You can bridge the posts on the solenoid by using needle nose pliers or whatever else you may have. If it starts up or you hear the starter run, you have a bad starter solenoid.

There are a number of people that have made videos on how to resolve this issue. It involves making a small plug up and touching it across two terminals.

many things could be wrong,bad connecting rod bearing will let the piston hit the crank,broken gear in the tranny ,gear on the starter not meshing correctly, be checking for any noise when it is cranking.

Remove and check the settings, check the bearings and the tolerance that is needed or if there was dirt or foreign particles that had caused this to happen. Also it can be due to worn out brakes.

Bosch brute is made to work all day every day and will continue to do so if it is not over or under powered and properly lubed. If not powered correctly, motor will not turn at full rpm, get very hot and burn brushes to point that auto stop feature will stop motor (brush will push away from armature, or burn switch). The hammer will overheat if too long or wrong gauge of cord is used. Also if run on generator with voltage /cycles incorrect. Under normal use, motor will not get very hot. Another problem with overheating is that the grease will melt out of range to do any proper lubrication. If you are sure that it is getting proper voltage /amps then may need lubrication or bearing work. Remove bearing cover and turn armature by hand. It should be easy to turn. If stiff, suspect bearing/grease. With amp meter connected, check amp draw and compare to rated amps.

good chance u have a bent rod, bent valve. Need to take to shop to get checked out.
