Frozen water builds uo on floor of freezer

most likely you have a plugged and frozen defrost drain. check behind the bottom basket of your freezer section to confirm this you will find alot of ice build up. to repair you self:

• unplug refrig.
• unload freezer section
• remove rear access cover (on jenn-air's there are 2 screws about mid way up they are painted white and arent very obvious).
• clear all ice
• flush drain hole with warm water. ( i use a turkey baster filled with hot water to get best results)
• reassemble unit
• reapply power

Sounds like ice build up on the freezer coils. Disconecting the water line doesn't stop regrigerant from flowing through the coils since they are still working. Easiest way would be a hair dryer to melt the built up frozen consensation. After you should see no water on the floor and you can turn the water back on (i assume the water is for your ice water and ice cube tray).

Defected DEFROST HEATER can cause frost build up on the panel at the back of the freezer,and freezer stop cooling and ice frozen on unit so air could not flow to refrigerator side.Water will coming out caused of unbalanced freezing,and causing the flooding of water in the floor. You must change this defroster heater assembly so it will works normal again..

check the freezer drain. is it frozen over? drain is back of freezer on bottom.

I HAVE A MSD2454GRW, 23.5 CU, MAYTAG AND ICE BUILDS UP ON THE FLOOR OF THE FREEZER TO A POINT WHERE IT RUNS ON THE FLOOR. CAN CLEAN IT OUT AND 12-15 HOURS LATER, ITS BACK.

unplug it again , sounds like your drain line has frozen, instaead of defrost water going down the tube and under refrig in drain pan, becuse tube is frozen its draining into freezer compartment and eventually spilling out through front of unit. totally defrost unit and behind back wall of freezer youll see a metal trough designed to catch water, in the center (under the ice is gonna be the drain hole, pour boiling water down until it runs freely

your drain line is frozen. you nee to put hot water down it

If the water is coming from the inside of the freezer (you will see ice build up on the freezer floor) then the drain is frozen over and will need to be cleared using hot water.  If not and if your model has a dispenser, then check the water line connector from the bottom front of the fridge to the freezer door.  Let me know what you find.

Sounds like a defrost problem... need to pull back panel off in freezer and see if u have thick frost build up indicating... heaters, or defrost themostate bad.. could not bring up your model # SO dont know if maybe bad defrost timmer or if you have adaptive defrost control which could also be bad.
