Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

SOURCE: dont know how to upload pics to computer

after connecting your camera, power it up. the computer will then prompt new hardware found and is ready to use. in most cases, the camera will be treated as another disk in your computer (like usb disk). go to my computer and check if there is a removable devices listed. open that drive then you may start to copy and paste it on any folder of your computer.

the camera should also come with a cd, which you may install in your computer.

Having gone over a month without a response to my query, I assume my suggestion to use a card reader solved the problem.

Transferred pics from computer to card and the camera will not display them - all are jpeg just like what the camera takes. These were from the camera but I wanted them back on the card also.

once out of the camera & deleted form the card, the camera will not display any of the images because it does not have that function. even jpeg images being the same format cannot be viewed.

Uploading pics

you can either do it via a usb cord if your phone is capable of that or you will need to send the pics via text message to your email address on your computer.

When I take pics with my just purchsed z1012 is digital camra and download to my computor, the pics are not in a form that they can be uploaded to to my real estate listing service system ie: the pics have...

The problem is the Files are in the wrong format. Although Im not an Easy Share User, I believe the File Format is .JPE, Where the Normal File Extensions (That your Website would handle) Is .jpg or .bmp. You would need to convert this file. If you have PhotoShop or another Photo Editing Software, This will do the Trick, Also There are also Converter Programs, But I wouldnt Trust them unless your Certain they are reliable.

Xp home doesn't recognize

I don't think XP pro vs XP home would make a difference here. Did your camera come with a driver disk? You might need to install some software for your computer to recognize the camera.

Another easier way is to just get a card reader. I picked one up for about 15 bucks and it reads every kind of card imaginable. I use Google's Picasa software (www.picasa.com) on Windows, it recognizes when a memory card has been plugged in and goes right to the screen where you can start importing your pics.

Transfering the pictures

you could try uploading them with a different program. Also on the camera monitor make sure the transfer symbol (squggly line with arrows on bot ends) is on each picture.
