Center of triple element is not working. How can I fix it

I looked up the model number you gave. It is a Kenmore range.The part number for that element is 7406P494-60. When you say it only heats to low, do you mean that only the center portion of the element lights up? Normally, when this occurs, it is an indication that the middle element and outer elements have a break. The problem could also be a faulty infinite switch(burner control). The part for that particular control is 7450P011-60. You will need a voltage/ohm meter to troubleshoot further. This can be a very INVOLVED repair attempt. I recommend, that if you're not comfortable disassembling your unit, call for service--this can absolutely be a tricky diagnosis and much care is needed to not damage the glass cooktop when checking the element. This could be a couple of issues, but unfortunately if it's your element, you would have to replace the entire element, not just the middle part. What's the rest of your model number? I can find a part number for you. (KECD806R****)

Which element is it? There is also a triple element on that unit.

Inside your toaster there are six heating element plates four in the center and one in left end and one in right end.
Just switch on the toaster without any bread at maximum time and visualy inspect to see which side is becoming red and which not. Then you need to replace the element plates you see that they don't become red. They can not be fixed.
Remember that the two in center are the same called "CENTER" and the other two on ends are the same called "END"
They can easily be removed if you remove the bottom panel.

replace your infinite switch to that burner

It sounds like your heater element is burnt out. Get a volt meter.unplug the stove.take off the back,disconnet one of the wires connected to the element and test it. It should read aproximately 11 ohms if good. if a high or no readind,the element needs replacing.
