This was taken from Sony's Website....
Driver information for Microsoft® Windows Vista® and Windows® XP

  • The drivers needed to connect most Sony® cameras and camcorders to a computer are already included in the Windows Vista and Windows XP operating systems. With these drivers, you should be able to connect and transfer files to a computer.
  • The USB streaming feature is not supported with the Windows Vista operating system.
  • Detailed Windows Vista compatibility information is available for Sony Cameras and Camcorders.
  • The Windows Vista Starter edition and Windows XP 64-bit operating systems are not supported.
So as you can see...the 64 bit OS is NOT supported.  The only luck you are going to have is either go to XP, Vista 32 bit...or see if there is a 3rd party driver someone made on the internet.  Try google....but I would have to say due to the complex nature of the drivers, it is highly unlikely that anyone has made a driver that is compatible.  It just has to do with how the 64 bit OS is made.  There might be a way to use 32 bit drivers, however you might run into some issues with processing and streaming.  To my knowledge of 64 bit systems, they are backwards compatible with 32 bit applications, so you can use wither 32 or 64 bit drivers....the only downside is by using 32 bit on a 64 bit machine, you are going to suffer a little bit of performance loss.  I hope this answers your questions.

I just got a Pro 205 printer . The software that came with it microsoft dosn't recognize so I need one that microsft will recognize. Thank you. [email protected]

Hi. There are Microsoft drivers available for download in the Lexmark website. If your using Vista or Windows 7, check if it's running on 32-bit or 64-bit operating system by going to Start > right click on Computer > Properties. Then click on this link to the Lexmark website. http://bit.ly/9faEwK . On the bottom of the page, you'll see dropdowns for Microsoft, Macintosh and Linux/Unix operating system. For Vista, choose Microsoft Vista for 32-bit or Microsoft Vista X64 for 64-bit. For Windows 7, choose Windows 7 for 32-bit or Windows 7 X64 for 64-bit. Download the Driver but not the Firmware update. Hope this helps.

No driver required. Plug the supplied cable into the computer firewire port and the Sony "i-Link" port on the TRV-330 and turn on the TRV-330 in VCR mode. Works in XP and Vista out of the box.
