You need to download and install the latest RealTek drivers for you laptop... If you have a tv with HDMI use the HDMI port on the left side of the laptop. Change the sound output to HDMI first if you want to output sound through the tv.
Select your operating system Check your OS by right clicking on my computer and go to properties It should be up the top e.g. Microsoft XP Professional You might be selecting Vista 32 instead of 64
check the volume control..in the keyboard hotkey..press Fn+ sound volume control...if not come
try to re install the driver of the sound...if you dont have driver..check this out: www.acer.com
download drivers..select model of your laptop..thats it..if the same not working..check in the bios setup and check the sound setting if it is enabled or disabled..if same problem..maybe its a hardware problem..i think so ..but check first what i had given option for you before the hardware..
