Please check that you added the softener to the correct compartment of your washer. Also, please read or re-read the instructions for adding the fabric softener. Once you've done those 2 things, please run a test wash with clothes that you would not particular care about potentially staining. Thank you.
Stains are one of those things that no two problems are every the same cause. Generally, if it an oily stain then you take a look at something like the transmission. If it is a rubber type of stain the the rubber washer sealing the shaft. Or if it is rusty colored then metal metal somewhere in the wash tub that is rusting.
Sorry, wish there was somehow to tell you where exactly to look, but there just isn't.
:) Hey... The absolute best machine on the market are the ones from SPEED QUEEN. THey wash clothes dependably, are direct dirve, and spin out the water better than any other on the market. THe speed queen machines pump and spin at the same time. THe other brands (including newer maytag-made by whirlpool) don't do this anymore, for they pump the water out, let the clotes go to the bottom of the tub, then attempt to spin causing them to wobble shake and shimmy as they get off balance. Speed Queen, on the other hand spins and pumps at the same time. THis means the clothes are spun out to the sides of the tub from the to to the bottom. MOre water is spun out so less drying time is required. Water is cheap but gas and electricity is expensive. So, if you are going to save one.. i suggest the shorter drying time to be the winner! THe old maytag machines that lasted people 30+ years before they quit had this technology.... Speed Queen still has it! THe warranty on speed queen machines includes 3 years without buying extended warranty.. all others make you purchace this.. SOme of them don't even come with a year! SHAME On you! Find a speed queen dealer and at least go look .. :)
The first place that I'd check would be the small metal screens inside the openings on the water inlet valve. They can get really rusted, epecially in areas with hard water, so I would recommend removing the water supply hoses and take a gander at the screens. They can sometimes release the iron oxide into the wash water and cause brown stains or blotches on clothing. Hope this helped and best wishes.
HI Friend, First of all relax alright, you are in safe hands. See every washing machine has a turbine at the bottom f the washing bowl and below that there is a motor. And there wud be a safety valve or (washer ) which basically looks like a ring made out rubber or plastic and when this ring gets outdated or torn it stops controlling the oil flow and thats the reason y ur clothes have the oil stains ,so once it is replaced you will not have this issue. This would surely help you in getting the clothes clean and tidy.!!!!!!!!!!!! Have a great day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And please rate me so that I can improve myself(vote). Prasanth83:):):)
fabric softener will leave oily looking stains on certain fabric. oil stains will not wash out.i do not recommend using softener in washers it gums up everything!
