Rca universal remote wont work on durabrand tv

You cant. I have the same issue with an old symphonic. There are some universal remotes that do work it. I found a 3 in 1 rca that did for my tv. Rcu300 was the remote model number.

Check these codes. 1004, 1153, 1167, 1207 These are setup codes for Duraband TV with RCA RCR311W model remote control. If you want more codes and other details to different other brands of remote control. check this.

The code for GE universal remote for th Durabrand BH2004D is "0157"

I took the remote back and purchased a sony remote and now it works perfectly

For the GE Universal Remote (RC24991-b), 0157 works (for me) with this Durabrand model

We broke our remote for the Durabrand 13 inch tv, bought a RCA universal remote and that did not work. Just bought the radio shack 3 in 1 remote for $7.99 and it had the codes for the Durabrand tv and it worked fine. Hope this helps.

I have the RCA RCU600D remote and i cannot get it to work with any codes listed for my Panasonic DVD-RV20 dvd player. Any ideas???

I am not sure about Direct TV but dish network does not allow the hookup to go through their box...it must go through the TV only. Speaking with Duraband at 1-800-256-2487 confirms you have to have a Duraband remote and universals won't program to it. Ask for parts dept. and order a new remote. Sorry - not good news for me either!!!
