Some fine-grain coffees are too fine for the Gold Tone Filter. If this is the case, remove the Gold tone Filter and use paper filters only. You may have to wash excess grinds out of the black filter basket, since there may be a few stuck in there now - don't take the filter basket apart - just rinse it out with water.

Also, don't use a paper filter and the gold tone filter at the same time.

The brew-pause feature is somewhat limited. You can remove the caraffe quickly, pour, and quickly reinsert it, but there is going to be some drippage during the process. You also have to replace the caraffe back in place quickly, or the coffee will overflow the basket.

Good luck!

I tried this. I found the filter has coffee sediment in it. I cleaned it and tried running water through the coffee maker. It doesn't finish the brew. For 6 cups it brewed one cup and the rest of the water stayed in the filter without dripping down.

Bosch tassimo T65 - water draining in to drip tray possible cause and resolution

I had a problem on my Tassimo T65 where water was entering the bottom drip tray through the small hole at the rear. It seems many people have this problem but after researching on line there is little help although I found on this sit how to take the coffee maker apart and from that thread the possible cause for my own issue.
So if your machine seems to be leaking from the small drain hole to the rear of the drip tray try this before you think it is either in need of specialist repair by Bosch at a cost almost the same as a new machine or before you start to take it apart and have a look yourself.
CAUSE - The water is coming from the drain hole because the pressure valve at the top of the machine is blocked with calcium deposits through prolonged use without descaling sufficiently.
SOLUTION - Purchase a good quality coffee machine descaler. Sit the whole coffee machine in a tray or large oven tray so you can collect the overflowing descaler throughout the process, it's not economical to waste this solution. Remember to clean down and dry the coffee maker each time.
Use at least half strength descaler do not water it down more than 1:1
Follow the descaling process by inserting the yellow disc and holding the start button down for 3 seconds.
Repeat this process several times, recovering the fluid leaking in to the tray and cup or container. If you start to see small lumps being dispelled in to the cup try to remove these for further descaling.
After several cycles you should notice that the leaking or flow of water from the bottom drain hole becomes less until it stops. To force the dissolving scale out of the pressure valve try running the normal clean cycle but with the descaling solution, the flow is longer and will help flush the restriction.
After a number of descaling and clean cycles the leak or flow from the drain hole will have stopped, if not continue till it does.
Note: I ran cycles for about 2 hours with periods of rest to allow the solution to do its work.
Now the leak or flow has stopped clean out the reservoir and replace with clean water and run at least 4 clean and rinse cycles.
i hope this works for you and now enjoy your coffee.

Washer doesn't stop filling up

The pressure switch, also called the water level switch, is what control the amount of water goes in the machine, If your machine is constantly filling to the overflow point, then that is your problem. Now, if water is going in and the level is staying the same then your machine drain line is lower than the pump and your siphoning out the water as it goes in. Pull the drain up a little a that should fix the problem.

System fill message appears often

Hi, check the float in the water tank. It might be faulty or put back in upside down. Take the tank out and place a magnet where the float sits. If this works, then its the float. If it doesn't fix the problem, then its the sencor inside where the magnet is sitting. Easy to replace if you can get inside. dazza

No matter how much water is in the reservoir, the Add Water error message won't allow unit to work.

Hi take out the water tank and place a magnet where the float would sit. If the machine works, then the float is faulty or upside down. If it doesn't work then the sensor behind the magnet is faulty. Replace it. dazza

My kenmore refrigeratot model 58087 has ice in the bottom of the freezer section. I assume this is from a clog somewhere in the automatic defrost lines. How do I get to these lines to clean them?

Unplug the unit! You have to remove the shelves and the rear panel of the freezer. I take two coffee cups filled with water heat them in the microwave for 2-3 minutes and keep pouring them on the ice until you see the drain, keep pouring the hot water at this point and let the hot water sit a little keep doing this until the water drains down if it doesn't drain down then you still have ice in the drain tube or you have a object in it so use compressed air if you can. Use a lot of bath towels to help with catching the water inside the unit while working in the freezer.

Some of the water goes through the machine to the carafe but a significant amount of water remains with the coffee and filter. Thank you for any help.

Hi there. Firsty give it time as the water does take time to drain through. If this doesn't work check you have the jug sat correctly underneath. Cheers

Miele coffee system cva 615. Message: Water System fault. What can I do?

More then likely there is nothing wrong with the water seal but simply the tank was not placed properly over the seal and water was bypassed to the reservoir. If a significant amount of water sits in the reservoir the "Water System Fault" trouble will appear and stop operation. The easiest way to remove the water from the reservoir is with an inexpensive ($5) siphon tool available at any auto parts store. Once the water has been removed and you can operate the machine and it goes through the "Warming" sequence you will receive a "Air in water System" alert. Follow the simple directions in the manual to correct this trouble and your system is back to normal. I have heard people have been charged by technicians up to $600 to fix this trouble and told the seal had to be replaced. Just take care when placing a full water tank back into place and enjoy : )

The on off light keeps blinking, Help.

For my DCR902T - This is telling you that it is time to clean the coffee maker. Press the minute and hour buttons at the same time and hold untl the light stops flashing. Take out the water filter and fill the water tank to 10 cups and add 2 cups of white vinegar. Put the water tank back in, without the water filter. Take out the permenant coffee filter. Turn it on and leave it until about half the water goes through. Turn it off. Let it sit for about an hour, then finish the job. Then, run 2 pots of clean water through. You are good. It will notify you to clean your system every 40 pots or so.
