How do i connect an acer aspire 5734z-4836 to a HDTV TV INPUT CABLE?

    Was not clear on my question. Want toconnectto a 42PFL3603D/27 Philips LCD TV 42PFL3603D 42" Full HD 1080p with Pixel Plus HD TV with HDMI iput from the Acer laptop.

    Yes. I was trying to teach, and didn't know what the HDTV was using for a display port. Whether we were talking about an HDMI, Display port, or Mini-Display Port on the HDTV. I have an acer aspire 5734z-4836 is is plugged in but says not charging. also if i unplug the power cord from the computer it shuts off.
Remove your battery pack, and plug in the live power source, and switch on your laptop, just to test if the if your laptop turn on. If it does, your battery had reached end life usage, so you need to replace the battery pack.

As long as you have an HDMI port on each hardware, just insert the HDMI cable into the ports and it should work fine.
