You need to order parts from AVANTI.
http://www.avantiproducts.com/
Very disappointing customer service.
I have been waiting 6 weeks for a new thermostat. It will not
arrive from China until June -- I was originally told it would come in April. All AVANTI parts are from China and AVANTI in Florida is the
only dealer. I will never buy AVANTI again.

Bertazzoni gas range oven can't be turned on

one potential solution if your Bertazzoni gas range oven can't be turned on is to check the thermocouple safety device, which is installed on every gas burner on the maintop and oven . If the thermocouple safety device is not functioning properly, it may prevent the flow of gas to the oven and cause it to not turn on. You could also check the gas flow issues if the outer ring of the burner ignites immediately but the inner ring takes a few seconds to light up.
If these solutions do not work, you may need to contact a Bertazzoni representative or a certified technician for further assistance in troubleshooting and resolving the issue with your gas range oven.

The burners and pilot light work but the oven will not light. We need to figure out which part to replace. It is a unit converted for propane and has no electric parts.

Ovens generally have a couple of safety devices fitted meaning no gas gets to the oven unless there is sufficient gas pressure. There is also a valve controlled by a thermocouple. The valve prevents gas passing. There is a bypass operated by either a button or pressing in the oven control knob which allows gas to flow to the pilot light (and sometimes the burners). When the pilot light is lighted and has been burning for about half a minute with the flame correctly set to heat the thermocouple bulb the valve will switch on the gas supply and the knob or button can be released. The burners will initially be at maximum until the oven thermostat reduces the flow to maintain the temperature at a preset level.

If gas isn't reaching the oven and the pipework, oven control and thermostat is ok then the safety thermocouple is either defective or wrongly fitted.

I have a Wolf model # CH-6-29 oven and want to turn the pilot light off for the oven. I know how to do it for the burners but not for the oven. Can you help? Thank you. It is over 100 degrees here in...

Bit late, but...You should just be able to blow it out, that's what I do for the summer. There's a thermocouple that has to be hot for the gas to flow, so once the pilot light is off and the thermocouple cools (few seconds) no gas will flow. To light it you have to keep pressing down on the red button until it's lit and the thermocouple heats up.

Oven goes our while baking

It sounds like the flame sensor unit has an issue---also thermostat control may have a problem---I'm not exactly familiar with this unit but some other units one type burner goes off then on to regulate temp--2nd type varies the gas flow low to high flame for temp control----ck operating manual for its procedures. Gas oven dosnt work

the pilot light is there for 2 purposes. number 1 to light the burner and number 2 to heat up the thermocouple, thermocouple is a wire that the flame from pilot suppose to surround by fire. if the pilot is to low it will not reach the thermocouple. you can take the gas line that supplies gas to the pilot and clean it with a safety pin or a small needle. you can test the thermocouple by heating it up with a blow torch on low heat, get it red hot and then turned on the oven. if the oven works clean the pilot, if the oven do not work, replace the thermocouple if separate from safety valve. if thermocouple is part of it replace the safety valve.

Avanti DG241BS - oven will not stay on

There has to be a protection system in the burner assembly to cut the supply of gas to the burner if it does not light. For the case of an oven the supply must be cut off immediately if the burner and its pilot go out. For that gas control system to work the burner control must "recognize" with a sensor when the burner is lit and when it is not. Pushing the knob "in" momentarily on this model bypasses the protection system momentarily to allow a burner to be ignited in the first place. If releasing the knob extinguishes the flame the control system is not "seeing" the flame. I tried to find some detail info on you particular ignition system but to no avail so all I can offer is a general approach to these kinds of problems . You need to find and clean or replace the sensor used to detect a flame. It could be an optical one (doubt that) or a temperature flame sensor, a thermocouple sensor, or some other kind I haven't thought of. Fixing this problem involves first determining what kind of sensor it uses. A copy of a service manual for this model can help you determine that. Try to clean the flame detector, and if that doesn't work you have to replace it or the gas control assembly it is a part of. If you have a spark ignition and its not sparking when it should first clean it --carefully--. Spilled food can short them out. Unplug the range before doing this. The owners manual shows it to be under the top burners which can be removed for cleaning this.

Lighting the oven

I have similar problems with several 20-inch Avanti ranges. Solution(s); Get a new range, different brand. Cool the range between lightings.
