The digital display (for temperature, time, etc.) has been gradually fading and is now almost unreadable. The oven seems to heat fine, but it's frustrating to not to be able to see what's going on. Any suggestions and/or part numbers for self-repair? Please advise.
When the display is fading it has to be changed part number 492071 that is for a double oven display

Well rlwings227, these screens can go bad in a matter of 3 or 4 years so buying a new oven is not a solution!
If you have had an oven long enough to see the LCD display fading, then buy a new oven...How cheap can one be?
