Hi I have lost or forgotten my blackberry id number. can you please help Me to rest it please.

How do I reset my lost or forgotten BlackBerry ID password? You can have the instructions about resetting your BlackBerry ID password sent to the email address that you use as your BlackBerry ID username. For security reasons, your BlackBerry ID password can't be reset for you.
Do one of the following:
  • To reset your password on a computer, visit www.blackberry.com/blackberryid. Click Reset your password. Complete the instructions on the screen.
  • To reset your password on your BlackBerry device, when you are prompted to sign in with your BlackBerry ID, click Forgot Password. Answer your security question and complete the instructions on the screen.

Once you have completed the steps above, you will receive a password reset email. If you complete the steps to reset your password on a computer, the password reset email can only be viewed on a computer and isn't delivered to your device. If you follow the steps to reset your password on your device, the password reset email will be delivered to your device. Complete the instructions in the email to reset your BlackBerry ID password.

I have one more attempt at my password and it will wipe out my memory. How do I recover or set a new password?

  1. Use a browser in the BlackBerry PlayBook or a personal or laptop computer and go to the BlackBerry ID Password Reset page.
  2. Enter your username (your BlackBerry ID) in the first box.
  3. Enter the slightly scrambled verification code in the second box. The CAPTCHA system helps prevent computerized attempts at cracking password codes; presumably humans are better at reading those oddly shaped characters. If you have trouble with one set, tap Refresh the Image to get a new group.
  4. Click Submit.
If you've done it correctly, a confirmation message tells you that reset instructions have been sent to the BlackBerry ID e-mail address. For security reasons, the reset instructions don't go to your BlackBerry smartphone or to your BlackBerry PlayBook. The idea is to prevent an unauthorized user from picking up either device and gaining control of it.
  5. On a personal or laptop computer, log in to the e-mail account you specified and find the message.
You can log in also on any other e-mail-capable device other than your BlackBerry PlayBook or BlackBerry smartphone. The message comes from [email protected]. If you can't find it, check the spam folder.
  6. Click the link in the message.
A web browser should load on the device; if it doesn't, tap the link and copy; then open a browser and paste it there.
  7. When the password reset page loads, enter a new password for your BlackBerry ID.
  8. Now confirm.

Blackberry id password required?

Overview

There are two scenarios whereby a BlackBerry smartphone user is unable to log into BlackBerry World with the BlackBerry ID when the SIM card has been removed from the smartphone.

  1. If the SIM card is removed from a smartphone where a BlackBerry ID has not been previously set up, then the option to skip the login to BlackBerry ID will be available.

  2. If the SIM card is removed from a smartphone where a BlackBerry ID has already been set up, then the option to skip the login to BlackBerry ID will not be available. The BlackBerry smartphone user will be required to log in with the last known BlackBerry ID credentials.

Workaround

If the BlackBerry ID password has been forgotten but the answer to the password recovery question is known, select Forgot Password on the smartphone and answer the recovery question to generate a password reset email.

If the BlackBerry smartphone user knows the email address used for the BlackBerry ID login but is unable to remember the associated password then it is possible to reset the password using the steps below:

Note: If the BlackBerry ID account is not confirmed, it is necessary to provide the answer to the password recovery question as part of the web based password reset flow.

To see if a BlackBerry ID account is confirmed, log in to the BlackBerry ID account, select Account Details and locate the Email Status field.

  1. Browse to the following URL using a desktop browser, the BlackBerry Browser on the BlackBerry smartphone, or the Browser on the BlackBerry PlayBook: http://blackberryid.blackberry.com/bbid/recoverpassword

  2. Enter the BlackBerry ID Username (email address) and the CAPTCHA characters, then click Submit.

  3. Enter the Answer to the Password Recovery Question, then click OK.

Note: Answering the recovery question is only required if the BlackBerry ID account is not confirmed.

  4. A confirmation message will be displayed A password reset email has been sent to [email protected], at which point, a reset email will be delivered to the associated email address inbox.

  5. Log in to the email account associated to the BlackBerry ID using the desktop browser, BlackBerry Browser on the smartphone, or the Browser on the BlackBerry PlayBook.

  6. Locate the password reset email and select the Change your BlackBerry ID password link.

Note: The BlackBerry ID reset email will come from [email protected]. If the email is not found in the inbox, check the mailbox's Spam or Junk folder.

  7. When the password reset page loads, enter the Answer to the Password Recovery Question, enter the New Password, Confirm Password, then click Submit.

  8. A confirmation message will display once the changes have been saved successfully.

  9. Moving forward use the newly created password whenever logging into BlackBerry ID.

Hey guys . I have a blackberry mob and it was working well . I have changed my blackberry id and then bbm doesn't work since I did that . I removed it many times and reinstalled it but it doesn't work

Greetings,
Try going to this web page :
Forgot my BlackBerry ID Password And Recovery Question
and check the last reply on the page:
Re: Forgot my BlackBerry ID Password And Recovery Question.
Start first with these please:
  • KB28685 How to reset the BlackBerry ID password using the password recovery question
  • KB32111 "The link is no longer valid." is encountered when attempting to reset a BlackBerry ID password
  • KB26361 How to change or reset the BlackBerry ID password
  • KB28111 Unable to reset BlackBerry ID password when using a BlackBerry hosted email address
  • KB28232 BlackBerry ID reset email is not being delivered to the associated mailbox
If you have forgotten your BB ID credentials AND have non-BB access (e.g., Outlook, webmail, etc.) to the email account that is currently configured to your BB ID account, then those instructions should allow you to recover access to your BB ID account.
--------------------------------------------------------------
However, if you do not have access to that email account, then your challenge is much greater, and you have a choice to make depending on your circumstances:
  1. If you have no AppWorld records that you require to retain (e.g., purchase records for apps), then simply abandon the BB ID and create a new one. To do so, however, does require a device WIPE:
    • KB26694 How to change the BlackBerry ID on a BlackBerry PlayBook tablet or BlackBerry smartphone
  2. But, if you do have AppWorld records that you must keep, then you require human intervention. To receive that, you must ring up your mobile service provider and convince them to escalate your case up to BlackBerry. Further, you must convince BlackBerry to provide you with a solution -- which likely will either be resetting your current BB ID so that you can again access it or having you create a new BBID and they will manually move your purchase records over. Note that I have no idea if they will be willing to do this, but there is no other way that I know of to retain your prior AppWorld purchase records.
Good luck!
