Rec'd Xmas. 100% charge and it will run down completely in about 3 days when it is turned off. takes it a while to charge up to where it will operate using either the AC adapter or the cigar lighter adapter.. I have only used it a couple of times and it has never worked properly.
Batteries must be charged completely when they are new or they will never hold a charge right!
I'm assuming you never fully charged them when new and so they will never hold much of a charge!
The Solution is to replace the battery or batteries and charge properly (overnight or at least 8hrs).
I recommend Radio Shack for this!

If the cell phone battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out.Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles andwill lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% and graduallythe charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR The batteryshows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the battery drops offto zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to an unacceptablecharge level then the battery needs to be replaced.
Sounds like you have a toasted battery or alternator. Have you performed a load test on the battery? Have you tried to charge the battery? First remove the battery and charge it externally from the vehicle. If the battery won't hold a charge, or won't hold a charge of 12 volts, replace it. Once you have the vehicle started, test the operation of the alternator. It should be putting out at least 13 volts back to the battery to keep it charged - if it is putting less than 13 volts or more than 16 volts, replace the alternator.

First try a REFRESH by discharging it COMPLETELY than re-charging it COMPLETELY (do that 4-6 times) nice week end project ha!, than if it still won't charge completely ASK FOR A REPLACEMENT OR REFUND... (if it's new it should be under waranty)
It seems that the issues is with the battery itself, not the cppu.
To double check, you can do the following:
1. Disconnect adapter and run battery completely dead. 2. Reconnect adapter and let charge for at leasst 12 hours OR until battery displays 100% charge.
If it still won't charge to 100%, then you know for sure the battery is defective/worn out.. If you want to know more about this, look on wikipedia for: "Laptop Battery Lifespan" or "Laptop Battery Memory Charging".
But I'd say it's safe to assume that it's time for a new replacement battery for your Notebook PC.
From your description, your battery is losing its charge and needs to be replaced.
I'm experiencing charging problems with my own system and I noticed that the A/C adapter is very slightly frayed. So, check your A/C adapter as well and be certain that it is charging when you leave your system charging overnight. If you are still experiencing a problem, replace your battery.
Won't hold charge.
