Firstly, check that you have latest graphics driver or not.
If not then download the latest driver of your graphics driver.
After that remove your old graphics driver and install the latest graphics driver and then install the latest DirectX 9.0c also for Win XP.

Note : After each and every installtion just restart you machine.

My problem is the graphics and pci, i need a driver, i reformat today and now i noticed that the cd driver was lost, my mother board is ASUS P5SD2-VM. pls help me.tanx

You can see all the list of drivers found for this Motherboard by clicking here.

You would need to select the appropriate OS (Operating System) first before it can give you the list of drivers that you need to download. (Example: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7)

If you have Windows 7, please download the video driver for Windows Vista.

If you are having trouble with the Global(DLM) link choose instead the Global or China links.

Hope this helps!

I am having motherboard P5SD2-VM motherboard having on board agp sis 3 mirage of 256 MB but it does not support to games like crazy taxi and even flash player programme which was working are not working...

Some games requires higher video card memory, you must look for the requirements for that game! I suggest if ur a GAMER, buy a HiGHER memory PCI video card! Taaah!

I am using asus p5sd2-vm with p4..while playing games its hanging

I am sorry, but I am not a gaming fan and it just never happened to have that much of an interest. Finaly someone gave me a computer that has a MB with special provisions for gaming. I noticed that one can change the BIOS specs without having to open the device and take half a day to set it up. If you can wait a while to do some research and can stay with the lower speed of the games. I just thought of something! When you acquired the ASUS MB and you installed it in your unit; there are two things that can slow you down: one is the size of your RAM memories and the other is their speed. Unfortunately if you change their speed, you will need to change all the memories because they are paired or triplette, because if one is super fast and the other just fast, you can burn some of the RAM memories I can see of an easy way to check it out: you probably have two memories, unless you added one more. Modern computers have only two slots, because it is no longer needed to have more than two. In either case, after you make sure you will not blow them up due to your static electricity, then we can proceed. The static elecricity can zap a memory just if you are charged... Please, before you touch anything you discharge yourself by tounchin on a piece of ground (the computer frame for instance. Another way can be prefered because you will have free hands in this way. You buy a cheap bracelet put it on your most comfortable wrist, attach a wire from the bracelet to your ground and this way you will always be grounded, but your hand will be free. So, once you are grounded, with the computer disconnected by the AC plug you remove one of the memories #1 would be a good choice. Turn it one and observe the spped of the game, then change #1 with #2 (and #3 if there is one). Asuming that you have only two memories, you take out one and then you place #1 into #2 slot. If you have three slots, you just do excange the position #1 to #3, #2 to #1 and number 3 to #1. After each changing you will need to turn on the computer and check the speed. If you want to be much better yet, you check with instruction manual on the frequency of the RAM memories. This time you will have to buy some that can be paired or tripletted, other wise they will not work. There are also 2GB DDR memories available now that you can double or triple your RAM memory. The RAM memories are repositories, where the computer, after a calculation, will place the result, until it needs it again. Another advantage of the RAMs is that they have no moving parts. The trick is that the RAM memories should have anough capacity to be able to take an entire program, whenthe computer will never need to activate the HDD. My ASUS P5SD2-VM Is Having A No Display Problem

Make sure you disabled th eonboard video card. Some boards do it for you automatically when you install a new one and others you must remove or switch a jumper pin on the motherboard. Consult your manual for the jumper location. Sometimes you have to use the default card and go into the bios set up and disable it in there, shut down the system install the card then restart using the new card. Make sure you use the first available PCI-e slot closest to the CPU and you should be all set.If not your card may be bad.

My ASUS P5SD2-VM Is Having A No Display Problem

If you are using the motherboards built in VGA graphic display, check your bios settings. Open your manual to page 2-22. Read the page.
Make sure you have the bios set to, Primary Graphics Adapter [PCI-E] set to, [IntVGA].
Set the internal VGA to, [Enable]. You will also need to set an amount of your system memory for the VGA to use. It is recommended if you are using Windows Vista that you increase your 1GB of system memory to, 2GB. Or instead you can buy a decent PCI-E video card that will use its own memory instead of your system memory. If you do this you'll need to change the bios settings to, Primary Graphics Adapter [PCI-E].
Also change, Share Memory Size to [Disabled].
If you need the manual for the Asus P5SD2-VM. Click on the link below;
http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?modelname=P5SD2-VM&SLanguage=en-us

Click the dropdown menu & click on your operating system. Than click Search. Asus list all drivers, manuals, FAQ's ect.
To view the manual you'll need Adobe Reader. You can download Adobe for free at this link;
http://www.adobe.com/products/reader/

Again, if you do not have any display & your using the built in VGA graphics card try resetting the bios. Doing this will reset the bios back to normal default settings. The bios will auto use the built in VGA. To clear the bios see page 1-22.

Good luck!
Mike

Motherboard ASUS P5RD1-VM ram problem

More people should complain with Asus support. Checking Asus forums, you'll find there's an obvious problem with a PCI-E video addon + 2 used memory slots. In my case, I had 2Gb (1 + 1), mb with bios version 1104, and it worked fine; when I installed a new PCI-E card, the system was very... very sluggish. Now I have uninstalled 1 memory, I'm using only 1Gb of RAM with the PCI-E card, and it's working well.

Again: checking Asus forum, this is a reported problem, and a bios bug... Asus should release a new bios version, but they seem not to bother, as this is a relatively "old' mb...
