I had d problem where mi dvd was unable 2 eject cuz it was locked, so i uplugged it den pluggd it bak n held d power button and it suddenli went off as i was holdin d button n now it doesnt wanna *** on..pls help

You may have enabled the child lock feature, try pressing the Return, Enter and Power buttons together to toggle the lock off. If this is disabled and you still can't open the tray, turn off the unit and unplug it. After 30 seconds or so, plug the unit back into the electrical outlet. Attempt to open the tray. If this does not solve the problem, try pressing Power + Stop + Eject buttons together. Also try pressing Disc1 + Stop + Eject simultaneously (if a disc1 button is on the remote or player).

If the error message is t - L C K or persists after trying all of the above steps, then you need the unit serviced.

There are two lock conditions for this device.

If you can't eject the disc:

Enabling removal of disc

1. Select the DVD/CD function.

2. At POWER ON condition, press and hold down the stop button and the power button on the player for at least three seconds.

(The message, "___LOCKED_" appears when the function is activated.)

If you can't operate the functions:

Enabling operation of selector and disc

1. Select the DVD/CD function.

2. At POWER ON condition, press and hold down the play button and the power button on the player for at least three seconds.
(The message, "___LOCKED_" appears when the function is activated.)

Plug the power cord back into the electrical outlet and turn the player ON. Attempt to open the disc tray. Depending on the model number of your DVD player, simultaneously press the POWER + STOP + EJECT buttons. Hi there, I just had the same problem with my daughter, looked in the manual and it says to hold down the stop button and press the eject button on the unit. That should unlock it, its the same procedure to lock it, in case you want to prevent you daughter from attempting to play biscuits!!

In the front side of the dvd drive you will see a small hole ...so to eject that cd put one niddle in that hole and .
Now press the button at just after that apply a force on niddle .suddenly you will notice that cd will come outside ,if not try more times and you will learn to eject the cd when you are unable to do it by pressing the eject button...

hi, 2 things usually cause this kind of behaviour 1-the dvd+r have been burnt at a high speed 2-the dvd player itself is a bit old when you burn your dvd+R always burn them at a lower speed lowest if possible it'll take longer but it's well worth it and you wouldn't have a problem playing them back

To unlock, manually press and HOLD the open/close button & the stop button simultaneously, and HOLD them both down until the lock picture disappears.   The DVD will eject when you press the open/close button. 

 

To lock the DVD inside the machine, repeat the same step, and it will lock it inside.
