When you plug the ipad into something it sometimes turns off,you must press play again. Is it plugged into auxillary input and turned to auxillary on the stereo?
If you are getting sound and picture from the screen's auxiliary jacks, then this only confirms that the screen is faulty. The DVD player must be reading the picture signal as it supplying the auxiliary jacks, but the screen has failed to display the signal.
if you've forgotton your PIN, then try reseting your phone, using reset codes,in case if yours is a nokia phone try reset codes from http://www.unlock-free.com/ , if you've dont know the PUK call network provider .for getting PUK code
First off, is the unit equiped as ipod ready or are you using an auxillary input. If your unit is ipod ready, this means it has the ipod cable to the unit. If you are using an auxillary input, it won't show the name and yes you will have to control your music from the ipod itself. Just some things to think about. If your unit is malfunctioning, I recommend visiting the local stereo shop.
the auxiliary input is the 2 RCA cables dongling out of the rear of the unit , you can get an adaptor to turn them into a jack , or an adapter cable for your ipod to jack into the rca inputs .
Make sure that "AUX" is turned on on the menu. Some Pioneer radios have a front aux, a rear aux, a rear steering wheel control jack, and an aux through the IP-BUS only. First, make sure that if there is an auxillary port on the back of the unit, that it isn't the steering wheel control plug by accident. Second, front auxillary inputs on Pioneer radios NEVER need to be turned on in the menu, only inputs on the back. Any back inputs are turned on in the main set-up menu when the radio is first turned off. Hope this info helps.
