The switch in the side wall of the oven will not pop out so the self clean mode will start.
Hello Iciapponi - From what you are describing it sounds like the switch that you are referring to is the motor latch assembly or thermal switch. Either or will need replacing in order the self clean mode function correctly. At this point, I highly recommend consulting a professional to accurately diagnosis the unit and to assist with the repair(s).

Hello Michael Anderson - From what you have described it sounds like the unit has faulty elements or could possibly be experiencing a wiring issue with the EOC. Try resetting the oven by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and if it proves to be ineffective contact a professional to move forward accurately to properly diagnose the unit.
