I like the Learn How to Juggle website as it explains tricks and shows
the balls moving at the same time.
learning to juggle really depends on the individual. Some people are naturals and pick it up in hours, others will take days to months to become confident. Juggling isn't that hard but it takes a lot of practice.
You
can juggle with all sorts of things - bean bags, balls, clubs, rings but you
can even use apples and oranges if you don't have the right equipment but want
to give it a try.
Juggling rings are good fun. They are a mid-way step between juggling balls and clubs. And I found them really good for my kids as they don't cause injuries, so if you have more than one person wanting to juggle they can all practice together without injuring each other.
Juggling knives look really sharp but they have rounded points and blunt edges and shouldn't be too dangerous. But still, you have to be careful as you can still get injured throwing juggling knives and should only practice with supervision.
Take a look
at the Juggling Inferno site. They have creative performers for hire and seem
to have other circus acts as well.
Good luck
with the party.
