You
can juggle with all sorts of things - bean bags, balls, clubs, rings but you
can even use apples and oranges if you don't have the right equipment but want
to give it a try.
To make your
own juggling scarves you will need the following:
Nylon fabric
Ruler
Sewing
machine
Pins
Scissors
1. Buy nylon fabric that is at least 17
inches wide. You can get this really cheaply in the market.
2. Use tailor's chalk if you have or a
pen and ruler to mark squares that are 17 by 17 inches. Be careful as the nylon
is very slippery.
3. Cut the squares out with very sharp
scissors (or a fabric cutter if you have one).
4. Use pins to hem the edges of each of
the squares.
5. Sew the hem using a zigzag stitch on
a sewing machine.
Now enjoy your juggling scarves.
Juggling rings are good fun. They are a mid-way step between juggling balls and clubs. And I found them really good for my kids as they don't cause injuries, so if you have more than one person wanting to juggle they can all practice together without injuring each other.
Juggling knives look really sharp but they have rounded points and blunt edges and shouldn't be too dangerous. But still, you have to be careful as you can still get injured throwing juggling knives and should only practice with supervision.
Fire
juggling is basically juggling with a
twist. Experienced club jugglers add fuel to their clubs and light them.
It's very important that fire juggling is done in a safe place, with safety
equipment at hand and with supervision.

this YouTube video for a really good guide to juggling that breaks down one
step at a time how to juggle.
