install the waze app it downloads a cach of map data for the surounding area so if you get into a bad signal area you are not screwed and unable to see map! its free and works GREAT

You have several options for tracking your android phone. You can use:

All are free and allow you to track your phone should it get lost of stolen. I use watch droid and lost phone personally and they work great. Lost phone and watch droid will provide a google maps link if gps is enabled on your phone. So if you lose your phone, you send your phone an sms message with your magic word and the phone sends back its position with a map link.

Take the Tomtom to a shop and trade it for a garmin unit. It has global map and u can navigate country such as Vietnam with it.. using GSP coordinate.. also there is a Garmin map for Vietnam free on internet.. just google it and you will find it.

I think you have account in google local business center.

You need to follow these 3 steps to change it..

1. Click Fix incorrect marker location in the left panel.
2. Drag and drop the marker at your preferred location. (You can zoom in and out of the map and use the 'Satellite' mode to get a better idea of the exact location of your business.)
3. Click Done. The preview map will be updated, and you can then complete your listing.

HTC tytn II, att tilt,Kaiser ( all the same products) have internal GPS chip installed just near the camera , so you need not buy anything else. Just get google maps app, a internet connection and try to find your self by using locate me feature on google map, the GPS chip will point you on map with very much accuracy.

It sounds like your not able to access the internet on the device , try going to a normal webpage and then you can check if it loads it most probably wont. if that is the case you will need to contact your network to get the settings. ( Most networks will brand the device with there own name it can be helpful to find what this is before calling .) once you have done this then you will be able to download the quick gps settings . The special GPRS mentioned above is only the networks name for there GPRS service.

After this is done you may notice that you still arent able to use your GPS to find your location that is because you need to select the port that the GPS device is on

1.Tap start > settings
2. Tap the system tab
3. Select the GPS option
4. In the drop-down box that is entitled GPS program port select COM4
5. Tap Hardware tab , Gps hardware port should be ( None ) and baud rate 4800
6. Tap access tab and then select manage GPS automatically tickbox
7. Now click ok then x

You will now need to setup MAPKing to use COM port 4 as the GPS device this will now allow you to use your GPS properly
