My mother board D865 GBS cannot accept drivers from CD only VGA drivers. Audio or LAN card drivers are ok.

Try cleaning the RAM as shown in the image below:

see if your sound on the device manager is properly installed. if not reinstall it again using your hp driver cd that comes with the package of your HP. or try visit the support site of HP. http://www.hp.com/#Support

Sorry to say M8, but you cant!
Here is intes support for that MoBo and there are non drivers for vista at all. So that card cant be upgraded to vista open gl
