The display samsung t240hd monitor randomly/intermitently loses sharpness. Goes from a perfect hd picture to a analog type picture. White space on menu bars in pc modes goes from a crisp solid grey color to a somewhat fuzzy blotchy gray w/ purple. all connections are tight. randomly returns to perfect picture. I have know idea what triggers either losing or regaining the perfect picture

To restore the settings please try to restore factory setting and see what happen..

Sounds like you need a new monitor! If you "witched" the towers and the problem persisted wouldn't it be logical to suspect a bad monitor? I know when I witch my monitors the act up!

go into your display settings and select the default settings first . If that solves your problem , then start changing the settings one time until your problem recurs . Then you'll know what not to set your monitor / video settings to .

This problem with the T240 (t240M or T240 HD depending on the coutry) monitor on Windows 7 and maybe on Vista
is due to Samsung´s driver witch is not updated to Win 7. You will have to lower your video
resolution to 1600X1024 (higher resolution accepted) be able to use your monitor. Unfortunately it will not work on Full HD mode on Win 7,
until Samsung releases an updated driver for win7.
I had the exact same problem here and found this information together with the samsung people.
As yet they have no idea when the needed update will be available. Hope soon, till then no Full HD resolution for us.

Yes you can, if you has PC desktop, plug your lcd to it. change LCD resolution from your PC.
-- Right Click on desktop
-- Click properties >> click settings tab
-- You will see Screen Resolution, change to the lowest (800x600)
-- Nnplug VGA cable from PC
-- Now plug the cable tou your TV Tuner.

Chances are the analog board ( One with the Inputs) need replacement. You can get one at the following link. www.tvrepairworld.com

If you are using the original component cable that has the Red, White and Yellow you need to purchase a Wii Component Video Cable.This cable is compatible and will solve your problem it will have a Red,White - Red, Green, Blue that will match the component Cable input on the back of your T240 HD Monitor.

Go into your video card settings and check for an option to work with multiple monitors

make sure that the plug on ps2 is connected and check the settings on tv and the settings on ps2 browser are correct if possible check ps2 on another tv to be sure of it's settings if the ps2 works the check channel setting on tv make sure it's not in pal setting it should be ntsc and also check the antenna setting make sure it might be set to cable and also check cables of any sharp kinks your problem is with the yellow cable red and white is the sound
