I broke the thread on moms Brother PS 1250 and I need to know how to re-thread it, please?

I've posted a link below of YouTube videos of several Bother machines; they should be similar in Threading.

How do i wind bobbin. help!

My method may not be the best but it does work. If you have a plastic or metal bobbin with a hole in it thread the thread through the hole where you would have a 1/2 inch piece hanging out as you put it on the bobbin winder. Hold it tight engage the pedal and hold it the whole time you are winding your bobbin. Hope this helps.

The top thread & bottom thread aren't 'hooking up'.

you might check your needle to see if it's damaged
make sure you have a 3 to 4 inch thread tail on top & bobbin thread, & hold top thread tail & use the hand wheel on the right & manually move the needle down to see if it will pick up the bobbin thread that way
also check the bobbin area for lint or loose threads

I can't get the tension on my sewing machine adjusted correctly. Right now the upper tension is turned as high as it will go and I've loosened the lower tension but I still have the upper thread looped...

It is possible that you threaded the machine with the presser foot down.

This creates loopy stitching because the thead never entered the tension control. Foot down = closed tension.

Put the settings back to their normal settings.

Raise the presser foot and re thread the machine.

User manual needed

The manuals will sometimes come on CD now, hard to read I Know.
http://www.brother-usa.com/ModelDocuments/Consumer/Users%20Manual/UM_PS_1250_MULTI_1343.PDF
This is the direct link to the manual, you will need the free adobe acrobat reader(You probably already have it) when you click on the link if you cant see it you will know.
Please give a fixya rating if this is what you needed, Thanks.
