The safety eyes are either installed wrong, or you have the wrong type. Craftsman (liftmaster) has what they they call old style and new style safety eyes. You can not interchange the types.

Replaced logic board on my Sears garage door opener and still getting 5 blinking lights and not working. sensors seem ok.

The opener is flashing the code for "RPM sensor or motor overload." Try unplugging the opener for about 15 minutes and see if the memory will reset.

If your sensors are not pointed at one another the light on one of them will go out. Tweak them a bit. If you cannot get the light to come on then your sensors are bad.

The main light flashing 10 times is the sign of a door sensor problem. Check to see if the small light on each sensors is lit and not flickering. If you cannot get both lights to come on your sensors or the wiring to them is bad.

Gararge door lights blink door starts down and then returns to open I have replaced sensors at door opening checked wiring and adjusted down pressure

If the main light flashes 10 times and the door reverses to the open position it is a door sensor problem. Make sure the lights on the sensors are on and are not blinking or that one is not dimmer than the other. Check that the 2 solid white wires are connected to terminal #2 and the 2 wires with the black tracer are connected to terminal #3.

The garage door does not stay down.Comes back up with lights flashing fast. The sensors are clear and the pressure has been set.

If when the door reverses the main lights flashes 10 times it is a door sensor problem. Nothing else will cause this. Make sure the light on each sensor is lit and not flickering ever so slightly. The flickering can sometimes be difficult to see.

If the main lights are flashing 10 times it is a door sensor problem. If the lights are not flashing it is a bad RPM sensor board which is a small printed circuit board just in front of the motor. It can be purchased at Sears or any good door opener service company.

Left Sensor has yellow led & right sensor is green. Garage closes and then immediately opens. I'm assuming it's the sensor with the yellow led. How do I fix this?

If the main light flashes 10 times when the door reverses it is a sensor problem. Make sure the door isn't hitting the floor and then reversing. This problem will not cause the light to flash 10 times and can be corrected by adjusting the 'down limit' which is on the side of the motor unit.

When the door reverses to the open position and the main light flashes 10 times it is a door sensor problem. Usually the sensors get bumped and need to be tweaked so that they are once again pointed at one another. Each sensor has a small light that must be on for them to work. The light on one sensor stays lit all the time and the other sensor light is only on when they are pointed at one another.

The flashing light in your wall control is a separate problem. One of the buttons on the wall control has an icon of a lock. Press and hold it for 3 seconds and release. It should stop flashing.

Craftsman Garage door opener not working

First, check the springs in the actual door to make sure that they are not broke. Since you held the learn button down to reset the opener, you have to reprogram all of your remotes. This button only resets the remotes. It has nothing to do with the rest of the opener. To reset the opener, simply unplug it for a couple of minutes and then plug back in. Pull the handle on the door and see if you can operate the door manually with one hand. If it takes more than 15lbs to move the door, there is a problem with the door balance. If the springs are not broke and the door operates smoothly, the likely cause is the rpm sensor on the opener.
