your phone may not have internet settings for your service provider. you can call customer care to send internet settings on your phne.

my name is Larry and i have the exact same phone. If ur lg isnt turning on and wont charge it could be couple things . either the charging port on ur phone needs replaced and or ur charger has gone bad i would take it to a cell phone repair shop close to you.

Sounds like a problem with the system board and the graphics. Since you've only had it a week, I would activate the warranty and get it repaired or replaced.

How do I delete everything off of this cell?

what is your old phone make and model?
If its the LG then copy all data in memory card and insert card in new phone
