Great Fixx it Hint: I used a bag tie from the market to shove into the small hole where the soap comes out. Worked Perfect Kudos to jaugust33. Thanks for your FIXX

Replacing this is not a very good option since KWC dispensers are expensive. I fixed 2 of these that had chunks of copper corrosion inside the thin spout, blocking the flow of soap. To fix it, pull off the metal head, flush warm water into the hole at the base and end of the spout, and run a thin wire (bread tie, etc) through it. The debris can be flushed from the end of the spout back into the base, since the end has a very small hole and the base has a much larger hole. This is only a 10 minute job.

great solution. I knew that the problem was solidified soap, but doing everything from pouring hot water down the intake tube to boiling the head didnt quite do it, and I couldnt find a wire thin enough and strong enough to work in the spout until I tried your twistum wire. worked like a charm. thanks.

Soap no longer dispenses automatically.

Mine would not work with the Costco brand (Kirkland) batteries. The light indicator came on but the pump did not work. Once I replaced them with Durcell, the pump started working. I'm guessing Energizer brand would work just as good.

My soap dispenser wont pump soap

Are you out of soap? Does the pump go freely up and down? If the pump goes down a little and then stops its probably clogged. If this is the case just get a long piece of notebook wire and slide it through the pump and it may unclog it. Really a soap pump is a very simple set-up. Suction from one end brings the soap through the tube and out the actual dispenser. Hope this was helpful:)

My grohe soap dispenser won't pump out any soap.

If the soap dispenser is not pumping the soap then the soap is to thick. You need to then the soap down some so it will pump.

Soap dispenser doesn't pick up soap

Make sure the clear tube is inserted into the pump head properly.Make sure the tube is not kinked. try filling the bottle full of water and try pumping the water out first. Sometimes the dispenser gets an air lock and takes a bit of continuous pumping to get it to work

I have 2 American Standard deck mounted soap dispensers in my kitchen. 1 is for soap and the other is for hand cream. They both worked for a few years, but now neither one pumps. There are no leaks. I have...

All soap dispensers work on a siphon principal. There are o-rings inside these pumps and, over time, they dry out (even when surrounded by soap (which has an acid base)). Unless there is a way to dis-assemble these pumps and replace the o-rings, you may want to start looking for replacements.

KOLHER Soap dispenser won't dispence soap.

Pull the dispenser out. Put it in semi hot water foe a few minutes to clean it. Then put the pickup tube in a glass of water and pump it untill water comes out. They get clogged with soap after so long.
Good Luck

I have a Grohe dish soap dispenser that get clogged-? soap

Dilute the soap you use by 1/3 . this won't affect the soaps ability to clean, but it makes it easier on the dispenser.
