Hello gen0313 - From what you are describing it sounds like the unit could possibly have a broken shock/bearing or damaged tub. A certified technician will need to accurately diagnosis the bearing and pulling system behind the drum for repairs.

SOURCE: during spin cycle started making

ckd your warranty papers sounds like rear drum support(spider) has broken will require new basket and rear drum half est cost 400-600 spider is not a separate part and rear bearing is probably damaged that too is not a separate part and require rear tub replacement

SOURCE: loud banging on spin cycle frigidare washing machine model no. fws235rft2

If this is a front loader this is a common problem. Unfortunately, it is also a very extensive project (about 8 hours). The tripod supports that attache the drum to the center spindle commonly break. The remedy is to replace both the front and rear tub, and the basket as well. It is also recommended that you replace the drain pump as well. Generally, they will cover the parts (not including the drain pump) under warranty but the labor will be a customer pay.

SOURCE: Drum came loose on Fridgedaire front loader on final spin cycle.

What was the point of posting this on the site?

The drum has broken loose from the support plate at the rear

You need a new drum and a support plate plus probably an outer shell.

A complaint to the manufacturer may get you a deal on a replacement

SOURCE: Frigidaire front loader makes banging noises in spin cycle

hi there.......if this problem has just recently appeared...its quite possible that 1 of the tub suspension springs has broken resulting in the tub lying at an angle and causing this unbalance....you can check this by tilting the machine and looking at the tub susension points

yes as it it is spring loaded ,thier is only one bearing at the back but the support mounts are all spring loaded ,you could get someone to take the top off and make sure that the springs are all connected and one of the support brackets on the drum isnt broke off

I am experiencing an error code during my wash cycle of E10... I have a frigidare affinity series washer.

Clean the cold water filter on the back, then try again. This should work. Mine was doing the same thing and the repairman had no idea what it meant.
