My wife and I originally had the same problem, and it didn't help that the washroom was a slick tile floor. First add as much weight as possible to your pedestal. We have ours full of detergents, bleach, fabric softener, etc., and have several of each so that the pedestal is completely full. When mounted on the pedestal, the washer is quite top-heavy, and the added weight in the bottom helped immensely. Second, make sure your washer is level, both the feet resting on the pedestal and the feet of the pedestal itself, and tighten the secondary rings so the feet don't vibrate out of place. Last, I purchased some thin rubber padding (approximately the thickness of leather) from Home Depot in the carpet aisle. Cut some small squares and place one under each foot of the pedestal. This gives the feet some additional "grabbing power" on slick floors.

How do I balance a Kenmore HE2 Front Load Washer.

You need to level the washer. They also have things to put under the feet to keep it from moving. Or try to block the feet.

Brand new wahse was just installed. The spin cycle vibrates so hard that it moves on the floor and vibrates the whole room. Shipping plug has been removed and washer is level.

Hello. This happened to me, also. We removed the back panel of the washer and removed the styrofoam blocks around the drum. These are for shipping purposes and should have been removed at the time of installation. Hope this helps!

LG front loaded washing machine vibrates during

If its on a pedistal then that will raise your center of gravity and cause the unit to be less sturdy during a spin. It could also be due to a weak floor. You may want to try a product called "shake away pads". The probably sell them at like home depot or lowes. They will run you about 40 bucks but they just go under the legs and help absorb some shock. Good luck _MJ_

During spin cycle, washing machine is bouncing around the room

Sounds like the drum, balance weights have come off, to me. This will cause those symptoms.

Maytag Nepture washer shakes across floor

iff you remove the door assy 2 screws holding it on) andthe n the 2 screws opposite the hinge, youll be able to remove the front cover and look at the inner workings of unit, perhaps a shock absorber has broken causeing the vibration

Washer is "walking" during the spin cycle

I have the same Duet that vibrates heavily during spin cycle. Leveled the unit with no success (our unit is mounted on the high base). Long story short, I went to Lowes and purchased a package of 4"X5" self stick foam rubber pads called Grippers by Wasman Consumer Group and paid a low price of $3.50. Since the washer walked forward, I cut one of the two Pads in the package in half, removed the sticky side paper protector and centered a half, sticky side to washer pad, to each front washer pad. The problem was solved.

I made sure the round floor pads of the washer were tight and the unit was level before attaching the Grippers. Hope this helps.

Walking Washer

due to weight and normal motion during wash/spin a very sturdy floor is necessary under front loads also some floors are a little slick and sliding may occur ck for weak floor and maybe some kind ok rough cushion under feet to reduce sliding also if on pedistals even more vibration may occur be sure all screws in pedistal are secure usually 4 from top onto bottom of washer also adj legs to lower unit as close to floor as possible and tighten lock nuts

Lg washing machine pedistals

You will have to have the washer lifted to screw the leg back into the bottom. As far as the shaking...try some vibration isolation pads. www.keshakeaway.com the best $30 i have ever spent.I have a front loader on a pedestal also..it vibrated the pictures of the wall in the next room. with the pads I hardly know its running.( and the drawer stays shut)
