Gas dryer runs sometimes, not others.

the belt is frayed and catching at times. mine was split in half. right down the middle.gets caught on tention pulley as it goes around,,,sometimes

Check for excellent air flow. Could be an object caught in fan.

Have you scanned for any fault codes? Most parts stores have them available to loan out short-term (5 to 10 minutes in their parking lot).

Without any OBD scan, it's very difficult to even point you in a direction.

It could be electrical or fuel-related. When was the last time you had the fuel filter replaced? Check the plugs/coils for fouling and proper connection. Check the battery connections to make sure nothing is loose.

If you are having problems with your gas dryer not heating the most common problem is that the ignitor goes bad. Even though it glows sometimes it is still not working properly.

sounds like you need a new timer you can actually take the timer apart to check for a burnt connection

IT SOUNDS LIKE THE TIMER IS BAD. IF THE TIMER MAKES NOISE IN ANY POSITION AND GRINDS THE LITTLE TIMER MOTOR OR THE TEETH ON THE MAIN GEAR IS SLIPPING

Replace the coils (2) on the burner valve .

sounds like the timer is bad

sounds like your motor is bad or the start relay on motor.. dont think you can replace just the start relay on that motor
