Can I upgrade my graphics card?

The card you posted would definitely be an improvement, however again like i said before, it would be such a minimal improvement that i think your money would be better spent saving for a new case+motherboard+video card. your cpu,hard drive,optical drive and windows license should all be moveable to your new pc, just get a decent case with a power supply, appx 85-95 dollars, a good mid range card, i think best buy has 9800gt's right now for lets say 189 dollars and a decent am2 mother board, i think you can even get an older 650 sli for about 159 dollars

I personally think you would be wasting your money on a PCIe 1 card. Thier aren't thaqt many available and even if they are they ae extremely limited by the band width. Just my thoughts. Amost all of the newer machines use a PCIe16 slot and even the old standard of the AGP advance graphics port was an emprovment over the regular PCI slot. Sorry. The card does seem to be a good card and no one faults you for trying. It is of, of course , better that what you have, for sure.  My only consern was that you wished to play games and if you look at the minium requirments for most games these days i do not think that card would qualitify at 400 mhz and 256 ram. It would work on some games. I am not a gamer so,i can not say for sure. I decision is all yours. Go for it if you wish. It can't hurt it .
