Kong Kollege. You talk to the Grandma Kong and she'll let you save your game. Available after the second level on the first map.

Had to go back and play the game, I couldn't remember what it was!!!

Now I have to play it more! Darn you!

Control Problems I dont know if its my controller my snes or my games I only have two games Super Mario World and Donkey Kong Country. On Super Mario the only buttons that work are the B and Start...

I'd say it sounds like an issue with either the controller or the port on the system. My advice to you would be to try a different controller, and try switching ports on the console. The games should be fine, though.

Whenever I try and play donkey kong country 1 for my SNES console it doesn't work but every other game is aokay then. I have cleaned it out too.

Well its because that the battery that allows the game saving process to save is dead or is dying so it will need to be replaced or just buy a new gamepack like that then.

Super Nintendo games start but levels don't

try blowing inside the game cartridge and then the slot the game inserts into. I had this problem on my snes with some games and this helped. Other to that it may be the console is on its way out.

Ebay sell some really cheap snes consoles now. I picked one up for £15.00 with games.

Some games dowsn't work

The saves are missing because the cartridges internal battery has died. The Ram that's in it to hold saved games cannot hold anything without some power.

Some cartridges won't read if the contacts have some dirt on it or something... The blowing thing is not a good thing to do and eventually hurts the cartridge more then it helps. Rubbing alcohol and q-tips cleans the contacts the best in my opinion. You can use the rubbing alcohol and q-tips to clean the contacts inside the system also.

Hope you can get these old classics working like they should be!
Good luck.

Super NES is Driving Me Nuts!

Turning your console on and off *can* erase save game data. This is in the users manual. Intermittent operation on older electronics indicates an internal connection problem somewhere. See if Nintendo can direct you to a fix-it shop, as they no longer service SNES consoles. Failing that, ask local video game stores and rental stores where a good fix-it shop might be.
