Eden pure heater-bad smell. cannot use

I bought an Eden Pure Signature heater for $484.00! It was touted as "tops"! By day 2, it was back in the box! DO NOT BUY THESE HEATERS! The smell was very bad, and would not stop! The company will charge you big bucks for returning it! When I took it to the UPS store, it was the 3rd on that day, and I saw the other 2 identical boxes! Pretty bad for a city with only 900 people! I can only imagine how many are being returned! These expensive heaters are made in CHINA! Need I saw more?

SOURCE: When the alarm on the Patton Electric Heater sounds, whay does one do to fix that?

This heater was the determined cause of my total loss house fire. I thought the company would atleast help me find some where else to live, they seem to care. But, as of lately they are doing nothing.
I am told this heater-(prh11- 2008 model- purchased at walmart for about $27.00)
- Had wiring that wasn't up to standards
-1/10,000 units cause fires
-something wrong with the heating element-stops working
- wouldn't stand level
-heating coils
-fires like mine have happened to a few other people
This came directly from a person at Jarden corporation(aka patton-sunbeam)

SOURCE: I have an eden pure xl model 1000xl. it is not

The bulbs/ elements for this xl 1000 are very easy to install. Not always too easy to find in stock though. PAY VERY CLOSE ATTENTION to the way the wires are ATTACHED! They MUST be reconnected in the EXACT way they were removed. BUT, just in case you forgot to look, I have pictures of the terminal blocks. Hope this is a help as there are no other diagrams or pictures that I have found on the net! Good Luck!

How do I fix Eden Pure Heater? It goes on and off intermittently, mostly off.

You need to clean the filters in the back of the unit. It is not receiving enough air flow. They just snap out and wash the little foam filter and replace it.
