No volume My screen is lit up-- and it's showing that it s on but no volume is comign out ..

Is their any other problems that showed up after the battery change ?

use the software diagnostic comign with you samsung computer, for to see if the problem with LCD.

Run the software diagnostic comign with the laptop for better test or download from your supplier computer.
However see the device manager if the driver is corrupted, uninstall and install again UPDATE driver from the computer supplier.
You must sure that in control panel in icon SOUNDS, you can adjust the level volume from microphone or use the troubleshooting section the same icon.

If the volume still works don't sweat it.

Check the volute settigs to these channles. Check whether system set is compactable with input.

Try any of the below combination.

1. Hold Volume Up + Volume Down + Power.
2. Hold Volume Up + Home + Power.
3. Hold Home + Power.
4. Hold Volume Up + Camera

If you go to the screen that shows WHERE TO and VIEW MAP there's a speaker icon in the bottom right corner. You touch the speaker and it brings you to the screen where you can adjust the volume or mute it. I don't know if that's what you mean by the main menu but I'm afraid it's the shortest way to adjusting the volume.

c, when u decrese the volume, then volume level appeares on screen. That time, simply press up key. Volume will increse.

1. Press the Fn key and while holding it down, press the F8 key momentarily to toggle muting of the speaker. An icon of the speaker appears at the bottom middle of the screen showing muting on or off.
2. After making sure the muting is off (no slash symbol on the speaker icon), press and hold Fn again.
3. With Fn pressed, press the key with the upward triangle and speaker symbol to increase volume which is shown at the bottom middle of the screen by the green lettering & vertical bars Volume ''''''''''''

1. If it is visible, single left click on the 'Show hidden icons' button, which is usually located near the bottom right hand corner of the screen. 2. Single left click on the 'Volume' icon, which looks like a gray speaker.
3. Single left click and hold down on the slider in the 'Volume' dialog box. As you are holding down on the left mouse button, drag the slider up to raise the volume or drag the slider down to lower the volume. When you let go of the left mouse button, you should hear a tone to give you an example of how loud the volume is now set. 4. Single left click on the on the blue 'Taskbar' to make the 'Volume' dialog box disappear.
