XP Drivers for IBM ThinkPad x41

Need the device drivers for..

1) Biometric Coprocessor and...
2) Intel(R) 82801FBM LPC Interface Controller

I reloaded Win XP O/S and those are the only conflicts remaining in the device manager. I can't find the drivers on the Lenovo website.

I installed win xp sp2 professional and I can't efind the driver to enable the touch again. please help me. which tool should I install to get it again. thanks alot.

The same model ThinkPadcan have different types of network, video and audio drivers and unless youknow exactly which one is installed in your ThinkPad, you need to download allthe drivers and install each driver until you find the right driver. When you download thedrivers, write down the device driver and it's file name so you have a recordof which driver you are installing and which directory the unzipped files arelocated on your hard drive. Go to the IBM/Lenovo WEBsite - support/download page and download the latest Windows device drivers foryour model computer, Use this link: - http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/product.do?template=%2Fproductselection%2Flandingpages%2FbrowseByProductLandingPage.vm&sitestyle=lenovo&brandind=10&validate=true You can download thevarious drivers and then you click on and run the various driver files, theywill then unzip and expand into a sub folder on C:\drivers Then install thevarious drivers from this folder (run the set-up file).

Please helpn me dear I have ibmm pc x41..i did formating and new installed of microsoft windows xp service pack 2..after i cant use internet..video driver,ethernet...

If you were to log on to the manufacturer's web site, usually one is able to download if available, by model number, Customer Instruction Manuals, list of Dealers, for spare parts and service, Driver downloads and Installation Instructions as required.

This is the best way of ensuring up to date drivers for your system and they are free of charge!

There are no XP drivers to be found with Microsoft as XP is no longer supported.

Some manufacturers may have a limited number of Drivers still listed.

I hope this helps.

IBM x41 1866-9GU does not have an audio device (sound card) installed. I need to find the right one that will work with this laptop and get it ordered and delivered. Do you know which model I need?

Are you certain it is not just a driver issue? If the right audio driver is not installed, the errors will also indicate that there is "no audio device installed".

More info here: http://www.pcauthorities.com/pc-errors/no-audio-device-in-windows

If you have the original CD< you can look for the audio drivers there. If not, check the IBM support website, or use a driver finder program to auto-detect and download the right driver.

The wireless key doesn't seem to be working on my X41. There is nothing wrong with the network but the computer can't/wont find any networks. If I need to change the wireless key where do I find it? (I do...

Before you can use the assigned X41 Wireless ON/OFF key and other hot keys, you need to load the appropriate and specific Hotkey driver for your X41 and Operating system (XP, W2000, VISTA or W7):
If you do not have the drivers media, see this link or other on this Lenovo/IBM site: http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/MIGR-68000.html
ps. You can also locate the Wifi driver starting from the above site.
Hope it helps.
