Sud= The unit has sensed there is too many suds in the unit it will flush and pump out for 5 min and restart on its own..This is caused by too much soap use..
From the book :
SUD Code=
If too much detergent was used:
—Run the unit through a Rinse/Spin cycle.
—Run a Normal cycle without adding any detergent.
This should clear the unit of the excess detergent.
1. Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged
or kinked.
2. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
3. Check wire harness connections to the drain pump,
pressure switch, and Central Control Unit (CCU).
4. Check/clean drain pump filter of foreign objects.
5. Plug in washer or reconnect power.
6. Check drain pump.
7. Check the pressure switch.
8. Verify CCU operation by running a Diagnostic test or any
cycle.

I tried that fix and it did not work. The next step was to replace the analog pressure sensor, $168 with next day delivery. That fixed the problem, but the price is a ripoff and less than 4 year old washer should not need any repairs.
The part is a small unit with a small electronic circuit with a pressure switch.
I bet their cost is less than $10
1.Remove three screws on the back of the top.
2. Slide the top forward about half an inch and lift off.
3. the switch is mounted on the upper right.
4. Remove it from the side and slide the black cover up to make it easier to unplug the connector,
5. Remove hose.
6. Plug in new sensor and connect hose.
7. slide cover down and install unit.

What does error F35 mean?

It helps to have FULL make and model in such questions, but here are a few ideas

The F35 error code indicates an analog pressure sensor error. The analog pressure sensor is the component that detects water level in the washer tub. This error can usually be cleared but it will occur again if the main control board still detects a problem with the signal from the analog pressure sensor.

I have a Whirlpool Duet Washer, washer starts and then stops code F35

Hello & Welcome to FixYa

F35 error means that there is some sort of issue with the steamer electronic board and analog pressure sensor has gone bad. Check that the hose is firmly attached with the washer and is not blocked. You can also check the water level pressure switch operation. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

I get an f35 error on my whirpool washer

themobilian_2345.jpg
It could just be lint or flashing inside the tubing which connects to the pressure switch. Remove the tube and blow it out and make sure ain't no holes in it. Remove the top to access the analog pressure switch item 20.

Whirpool duet washer - error code f35. shuts off

Hi,

Just tilt the washer back and prop it up with some wood blocks. Three screws are right on the front at the very bottom. Use a 9/32 socket to remove them. The front cover slides right off. The drain trapclean out is right in the middle. Turn the large white knob counter-clockwise to remove it and clean.

Thank you !!

Whirlpool Duet -Sud displays and washer stops

I;ve had the same problem (SUD on first fill) and found this most helpful for my WFW9600TW01 Duet washer

http://www.tellingmachine.com/post/Fixing-Sud-and-F35-errors-on-my-Whirlpool-WFW9600TW01-Washer.aspx

I duplicated his actions and it cleared up my SUD/F35 error. I think running the diagnostic test multiple times flushes the sensors/sensing lines to eliminate the problem.

My Whirlpool Duet Steam washer (WFW9600TW) flashes F35 shortly after the cycle starts and then turns itself off.

F35 is a water level error.
The water level switch (pressure switch) has malfunctioned.

If you remove the top panel, three screws in the back, you will have access to the pressure switch.

With the tub empty, remove the vinyl hose from the switch and blow backwards through the hose to clear any restrictions.

If the fault codes return after doing this, you will likely need to replace the pressure switch.

Also - please be sure to use He soap.
