Ps 3 problems with game play madden 08 franchise mode

I used to have this problem on the game 'HEATSEEKER'
I simply bought a new copy of the game at the store and, it has been fine ever since.
If that does not work go to your local wii stockist and ask for expert opinion there.

If it freezes always with same disk then the disk is faulty.

I think your lens may be very dirty. And alos please tell if the problem is only with this gamne or all the other games as well?
moreover, if your lens is dirty, you'll have to clean it using a lens cleaner, OR get it replaced lens).
I got my PlayStation's lens replaced when it was giving me trouble and all was fine after that.

try a new memory card or erase some that u dont use on the old one!

tey to clean the disc, then if it still wont play tere might be scraches, and if so use a disc docter

EA are working on a patch for both XBOX LIVE AND PSN. It is a known issue. propossed rollout for the patch is mid march im afraid

When I first started the game I think remember downloading a update. But I think it was a roster update. How do you download the up date?

This is a three man franchise league. When we got to week 17 of the first season and played our games, that was the last time the franchise would save. After reaching the playoffs playing my game the franchise would not save at all. It would freeze up. Then if you try to simulate the playoffs. It would freeze up. After playing with it we were able to get to the end, but when advancing to the off-season it would freeze up. Finally, figured out when we got to pro bowl to save it and it worked no freeze-ups. We were able to advance to the off season after that, did all off-season stuff and got to the preseason. Now when trying to simulate preseason it will freeze up. What the heck.

This sounds like you guys have discovered a bug, or glitch ... whilst i know this is very annoying if you love your console and games as much as i do, you want a fast easy fix ... and you want it yesterday.

Due to the nature of your complaint, and the fact that one other person has discovered a similar problem with the same game, i would firstly contact the software developer ( the guys who made it ) and ask them for a fix or as we say "patch" to help iron out this problem.

Get online at easports and register and perhaps take a look at the forums.

Games will always have glitches and bugs, ea have been around for ages so their support team should be "on the ball" with problems like this =)

yeah, that happens on mine sometimes. IT happens on both the ps2 regular and my madden 07 for psp. I thin it's probably just trying to do too much at once, and slows down because the processor isn't powerful enough.

EAsports says that there is a new roster update that will help this problem. I had the same exact problem when i would try and head into the offseason.
Their answer was that "there weren't enough players in the free agent pool". and that's why the game is freezing.
so, there are, you have to download the new roster update and start a new franchise
