Are you pressing the correct keyboard combination? You need to press the "Fn" key (next to the Windows Key at lower LH side), and, holding it down, press the "F3" key. Doing this once turns the wifi ON, again will turn it OFF.
make sure the far right wifi light is blinking (next to your battery light).. if it is not push and hold your blue fn button witch is by the control on the bottom left, and at the same time press the f3 button.. that turns the wifi on..
Maybe your wifi is turned off. Try Pressing FN + F3, press it only once because pressing it again will turn off the wifi again.
Or maybe your wifi driver is not yet installed. Here try using this software.

Just download and install the link above.
After installing just scan your computer and download your wireless lan driver.
Hope it helps goodluck.
Make sure that driver is installed properly. If it is, check for wifi switch. Make sure it is turned on. In some laptops do not have switches, they use the functions keys to turn them on. Use Fn+F2 or Fn+F3. Also, make sure that you just have one wireless utility activated in the computer. It is more advised that you use the Windows Wireless utility which is more compatible with most types of routers.
Lastly, check your wireless card and the wireless router if they are wireless a,b,g or n. If the router is wireless n, your card should also be wireless n. If your card is just b or g, it would not work.
Usually, if there is no HARD SWITCH for wifi, there is an equivalent keyboard key combination to turn wifi radio receiver ON. Look at your laptop's Function Keys: F1, F2, ... F12. Among them there is an icon for WIFI, something that looks like an antenna with wave signals. Now press and hold the FN key and press that function key with the wifi icon. Example, if the wifi icon appears at F10, then press FN + F10 to turn your wifi ON or OFF.
