You want to secure the wireless network. Is there any computer connected to the router with the Ethernet cable? If not then you will need to connect the computer to the router with the cable. Check the IP address on the computer. Open the router set up page. Once you open the set up page, you will find the option to make it secured
make sure the router is connected to the computer with an ethernet cable. if needed do a hard reset of the router by pressing and holding the reset button behind the router for 1 minute with power on
http://192.168.15.1 this is defaults link for acces belkin router then go to wi fi security then u see encrption security then u can reset pasword easily.
the PS3 connects to router via a crossover cable yes?
you may need to manualy set the PS3 as a trusted acception in the routers security system, (using either its MAC address, or its set IP address if u manually gave the PS3 one)
