We have had a few employees leave the company and along with them went the person in charge of our phone system. I am trying to figure out how to set up the voicemail directory where you dial the first three letters of a persons last name. I appreciate any help!
In your subscribers mailbox select yes you want to be included in you companies directory .
A SUBSCRIBERS MAILBOX IS AN EMPLOYEE'S MAILBOX.WHEN A SUBSCRIBER LOGS INTO HIS MAILBOX HE OR SHE HAS THE OPTION TOO LISTEN TO NEW MESSAGES IF ANY ARE LEFT OR GO TO SET UP OPTIONS.IN SETUP OPTIONS IS WHERE YOU CAN ADD YOUR SELF TO THE COMPANY DIRECTORY.IT WILL ALSO ASK YOU TO PLEASE ENTER THE FIRST THREE LETTERS OF YOUR FIRST OR LAST NAME.DEPENDING ON HOW VOICEMAIL WAS SETUP.SO PEOPLE CAN FIND YOU IN THE DIRECTORY.

I do not deal with your system but I see similar problems in other phone systems. This MAY be what is happening...
The message light can be a voice mail indicator OR someone on another phone in the building can leave you an intercom message (no voice system used or required). In those cases you need to return the message by pressing the MSG button, this should make the phone ring that left you the message in the first place. That phone needs to be answered to return the message and cause your light to stop flashing.

I guess that i am in over my head. I am trying to find out what exactly the subscribers mailbox is. And do you know of any way that I can take off the old employees off of the list. Thanks again!
