OS: Win 7 x86
Motherboard : Gigabyte G41mt-s2pt
Bios Version: BIOS Version/Date Award Software International, Inc. FA, 8/3/2011
Ram - 4GB ( DDR3 )
Processor: Intel core 2 duo [email protected]
Sound card(external )X-Fi titanium PCIe (sb0880) (do not think or confuse it with X-Fi titanium HD )
Sound card (on board): Realtek Azalia audio chip
Thanks
As far as i can see it only have 5.1 surround sound. And no thx certification. A THX certified card is more expencive. The games you play, must also have the thx logo, and must be encoded with the thx sound system. A thx system is 7,1, and the speakers must also have the certification.

Re-seat the card, or use Troubleshooting mode / compatibility mode by right clicking on setup. You may even have to roll back the OS if you changed it, or get an new compatible card.
The mic will give very good sound assuming you put it in a studio environment and have no speakers being driven by it that the mic can "hear" or it will feedback instantly.
Your studio should have proper sound deadening on the walls ceiling and floor. There is a lot of information on the web about setting up a studio. Search for it with google. The more studio-like the environment, the more like pro sound you will get. You will NOT get pro-sound in a bare garage or a room in a house without handling the sound reflections in the room. These mics hear EVERYTHING... they are a high quality mic.
if you changed your operating system to Vista or Windows 7 there may be a compatibility issue. try to see if there is by a driver update from Corel. Also try to enable the compatibility mode by clicking on the program and checking properties and running the compatibility mode.
goto straight to the aja card if its final cut pro compatable and upto date. Look for studio monitors, a good brand for instance yamaha hs80m 8inches that have built in amp other wise you'll need an amp generally for studio monitors.
i think your computer audio is not in shape to boost a great sound. specially when it is built-in sound in the motherboard of your computer. see your computer / motherboard manual's if the driver's you have AC '97 then you cannot really boost sound.coz it's a generic driver's for sound card. if try also to update your driver's (sound). by seeing the brand and the model of your motherboard or computer and go to manufacturer websites for update. after update if can't help, but you really need to boast a great sound then you can really buy a PCI sound card 6 channels or 24bit 5.1 or 24bit 7.1 f your sound system have are compatible with this. or has an interface like this - audio 5.1 and 7.1.

You may be closer than you think; the way 5.1 is decoded or a 5 channel stereo is processed dependent on the active mixer device. If you don't already know you are able to see this in the device manager or by right clicking your vol. icon and adjusting the available properties. Soundcards in nature can be tricky sometimes, if things aren't done in exactly the order both windows and the hardware mfg. need them to be done in (which neither provide a fool proof method for)things can be frustrating. If the upgrade sound device comes with lots of software you may want to make sure you know what elements you really want to have manage your sound. Most times better quality playback software will manage the hardware as it sees fit for features such as 2.1, 5.1, 7.1, pro logic, thx, and dts which aside from gaming, super audio cd's, and dvds 5.1 will not be active in its true form. Unless you are for example playing a dvd that is mixed w/ this than the best you can expect is 5channel stereo, and thats only going to happen if you have the proper mixing device loaded. Even in 5.1 you will not always here the rear channels as they are only for effect like during gunshots, explosions, and jets fling overhead. Dialog is mixed primarily through the center only. DTS is the best way to test you setup, find a title that is mixed in dts make sure you select it in the dvd setup menu before you start the 1st scene. You need to be able to support all of these things to make it happen make sure all your playback codecs are updated to todays standards or you will never no what you missing, These are the things that make my 40hrs.during the 9-5work week so let me know if you have any questions
