I would recommend going to the following link and follow the instructions for resetting the counters and see if that corrects the issue.

SOURCE: Tissot wrist watch goingin reverse since new battery fitted

It sounds like the battery might be in backwards. They do
have polarity,...it DOES matter how it goes in. Try opening it, and
flip the battery to see if that helps.

SOURCE: Shortening stainless band for 1st generation Tissot Le Locle

Arrows are pointing the way the pins must come out.
First you have to find out what sort of pins or even screws are used to keep links together.
Examine both bracelet sides and find the side where pin ends have a groove.
Start with a tiny screwdriver and start to unscrew one of the screws. If it turns, but doesn't come out, that means you have a pins instead.
For removing pins the best would be pin removing tool (approx.5GBP on ebay), but it's possible to do the job without it.
Take a hardened steel needle and blunt the sharp end to the approx. size of pin end diameter using any sharpening stone or sandpaper. Get an old towel and fold it to make a soft base for work (like small cusion). As you don't have a special bracelet holder you will need a pair of helping hands to hold the bracelet steady upright. You will need small hammer and pair of flat nose pliers as well.
NOTE: The pins MUST be driven split end out first, not vice versa. Make sure that the grooved pin ends are facing towel, not the needle and hammer!!!
Now place the watch on the folded towel, take that needle and smallest hammer you have and start driving the pin out using light blows. Do Not hit hard, as you will brake the needle, scratch your watch or even injure yourself. Watchmakers are using 45 gram hammer, so, calculate your strength of blows.
After a few blows check if the split end is coming out and when you see that the end is long enough to grab it with pliers, pull the pin out with pliers. When pulling, do NOT turn pliers, as pins tend to brake when twisted. Use firm grip and your strength to pull the pin without twisting.
After shortening the bracelet, make sure that the pins go back EXACTLY the same way as they came out- the blunt end first in the hole and the split (grooved) end last. Before doing that check remaining pins in bracelet to make sure that you put them back from the right side of bracelet.
It is recommended to use plastic hammer to drive pins back in or you will scratch or damage bracelet. If plastic hammer is not available use an old toothbrush handle (or some plastic item) as an absorber. Simply put pin into the hole as deep as you can with your fingers, put the toothbrush handle on split pin end and hit handle, not the pin.
Make sure that pin ends are flush with bracelet. If needed- hit few more times.
Job done!
Don't forget to rate, please.

I guess you never overhauled your watch.Every mechanism has it's limits - so does the watch movements. Your watch has ETA Swiss made mechanical movement which is very good and reliable, but you have to take care of it from time to time. Mechanical movements are designed to last almost forever if they are looked after and yours isn't an exception. Bring it down to the local watchmaker and ask to overhaul it. It will run as new again and will not let you down. It is recommended to overhaul mechanical watches every 4-6 years. If this will be done, your watch will happily tick-tock on your grand-grand-grand-grand-grand-grand children's wrist and they will remember you with a few good words and respect.

Need to sync digital and analog screens?

There are instructions on here and in the tissot website. However in basic layman terms here goes...

Press central button and hold for 5 seconds til 2nd beep heard. press centre of glass to show 24hr CM display. Sync will appear in LCD window. Then press top button (mins hand) until hand at 12 exactly. Then press bottom button( hrs) and again hold til at 12 exactly then press centre button. This hould fix sync.

My problem is that I changed my 4 year old battery today and at first heard a beep, removed battery as fiddley closure of base and redid battery. Now I have nothing at all. Could i have possibly shorted out the watch and what do I do now?

Tissot is Swatch. They do not sell parts! You need to contact the company OR where you purchased the watch.

Hi guys, my Tissot Touch watch has a non sinc problem with the digital and analog time. any solutions? thanks, Rodney

The Tissot Touch watch is expected to need "SYNCHRONIZTION" periodically. (that is, to synchronize the digital and analog portions.) The Tissot manual tells how to do this. This manual came with your watch and is available online from the Tissot website.

good luck, Rodney

Date function notworking properly

Do as follows:
1) At any time of the day pull the crown out and advance watch hands forward for EXACTLY 12 hours ( for example: if it's 6.35 on your watch, then after advancing hands it will be 6.35 again, just minute hand will be forwarded clockwise 12 full circles, while hour hand will be forwarded 1 full circle). Push the crown back in.
2) Pull the crown out to the date setting position and change to the desired date. Pull the crown back in.
Now your watch will be changing dates at midnight continuosly.
