I accidentally deleted all the pictures taken in my casio exilim z100, might have press the format option. I am not sure which portion of the menu did I press. I have not transfer all the pictures in the computer so I would like to know if there is still possibility to recover them
First of all, do not save any new file to camera's memory card.
Take out memory card, and connect it to computer using a card reader. You should see memory card shown as a drive letter (like H:) in Windows Explorer.
Download this photo recovery software

Install and open the photo recovery software, select the memory card, and click 'Start' button.
You pressed "format" on your camera. That meant that you formatted the
memory card of your camera. All your pictures are saved on the memory
card of your Canon digital camera automatically. You can recover
them with photo recovery software. But once the pictures were
overwritten by new data, they are gone for good.
I had recovered photos and videos from formatted SD card on my camera with a program called Tenorshare Photo Recovery for Mac
and it worked.Anyway, you can download it (Photo Recovery for Windows version is available, too, as I remember) and scan your memory card for
free to preview whether your files can be recovered.By the way,it will
show you the file name, type, date and size of your files and thumbnails
for your pictures that it found on your card.Give it a shot!
Here is a step by step tutorial to guide you recover photos from formatted memory card.
