You don't need any special software.


The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.


Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or, despite what I said first, you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

First you need to connect your camera to your computer using teh USB cable, Now you will noticed that camera will shuts off when connecting via USB cable Thats Normal., now if your using windows your computer will automatically detect by computer., You can transffer manually your picture by clicking the my computer icon, and under that my computer you need to click the icon of your camera or if you see a removable disc click it fou you to able to see the picture stored in your camera., Now if you want to transffer it automatically you need to install the software of the camera and its driver the easyshare software., If you dont have the software you can easily download it at kodak.com/go/easysharesw

Clean the contacts inside the battery compartment with a cotton swab "dampened" with rubbing alcohol. Do the same to the battery and the charger.
