Printer stopped printing today. Yellow light on power light has been blinking 5 times in a row then flashes green. I tried resetting printer head and did a manual restart on printer (Turn off, unplug data cord and power cord for 10 minutes) and still getting the flashing yellow lights...and no printing. any help would be greatly appreciated!
SOURCE: 7 yellow flashes not printing
I replaced a yellow cartridge with a new one - it is the correct one - and now I get an error message each time I attempt to print. Help.
SOURCE: Canon Pixma ip3000 flashing amber 6 times
If the 6 flashes are accompanied by an on screen message #5400, this is a "Service Call Error" code.
This code indicates the following;
Internal temperature error [5400]
The solution to this is the following part replacementl
- Logic board ***'y (QM2-1548) *1
*1: Before replacement of the logic board ***'y, check the waste ink amount (by service test print or EEPROM information print). If the waste ink amount is 7% or
more, also replace the bottom case unit (QM2-1205) or the ink absorbers (QC1-4222 / 4223 / 4224 / 4263 / 4264 / 4864 / 4221 / 4257) when replacing the
logic board ***'y.
[See Section 3-3. Adjustment / Settings, (6) Service mode, for details.]
Good luck!!!
