How to connect Bose Accoustimas 10 IV with Bose media center

Hallo,
does anyone know how to connect Bose Acoustimass 10 IV speakers (bought separately) with Bose Media center LifeStyle 28 IV? I plan to buy the Media center (separately) and I would like to use it with Bose Acoustimass speakers, which I do have. I contacted Bose and they told me, that it is not possible to connect it together. Is that true? Is there any possibility how to connect together - i.e. new or different cables?
Thank you, Miroslav

Is the subwoofer from the Bose acoustimass 10 series IV Home Entertainment Speaker System a power sub?

The entire speaker system is passive. That is, it requires amplification for each channel.

From the manual: "Compatible with A/V receivers rated from 10 to 200 watts per front channel and 10 to 100 watts per rear channel; rated from 4 to 8 ohms".

Which subwoofer????

Cameron,
I have the same problem, check these link and you will understanding more how it works. My understanding was bose cube cannot work with other receiver directly, it has to be work with bose's woofer (they call module) and they have specific wire to connect. So I give up to switch to bose even they match my deco and go back to traditional. Good luck.
