this is a lens problem you must find and replace the lens block for you camera.. search on ebay ionternational seller. it s possible that you can find the lens block for you camera,, the cost of the entire lens is 25 ----35... euro...sorry for my bad english i repair cameras but i am italian

Are you talking about the sliding door that powers on the camera and covers the lens? There is a metal plate with two screws on the bottom of the sliding door that holds the door to the camera, try tightening the screws and see if that helps. Or else see if the door is slightly bent out of shape, and try to bend it back if you can. This is a common problem on the Stylus-300 camera, you can buy a replacement door from eBay -
